A LIGHT FROM AFAR
My brand new album is going to be released on October 18th !!!
Beginning with a new project is always like taking off for a journey without knowing where it will be going to lead you. Once you dive into the creative flow, parts and pieces start to fall into place and all you need to do is moving forward, step by step.
Then, one day, you suddenly realize that your work is completed and you are wondering how it all came together. I have made this experience for so many times and still it remains a big mystery to me. The pool from which we draw our inspiration appears to be inexhaustible and one just needs to be open to receive the gift. I am lucky and grateful being able to present this new music to you and I wish you a pleasant journey!

Hello again!
After being silent for quite a while, finally here I am, back again with some good news.
I am grateful having endured the pandemics in good condition and I have not been turning my thumbs in the meantime.
I am happy and proud being able to present my new musical work now, having just recently celebrated my 70th birthday:
EARTHEANA - a large composition which I have been working on for the past two years. My personal vision of a musical journey all around the globe, the realization of what is meant to be an "Earth Symphony".
The album is being released on February 23rd (23022023) digitally as well as on CD. I hope you will enjoy the music!

Hello to everyone, from where ever you may be visiting this website. I am glad and grateful for being able to relaunch my homepage with a new design and also share some brand-new music with you just now, as the human society is going through a crisis that shakes the whole planet and affects the lives of so many people. The sceneries out there appear kind of threatening and the consequences are unpredictable. However, it also is a signal and a chance to have a serious look at our way of living and our priorities.
All my life, especially in my darkest hours, music has helped me to find comfort and new courage to carry on.
